About Đerdap

The Iron Gates, where the Danube narrows between Serbia and Romania into Europe's largest river gorge. A 40m rock sculpture of the Dacian king Decebalus stares out of the cliff, and Lepenski Vir on the bank holds houses built 8,000 years ago.
